SHE'LL DO US
Have you ever dreamed of cruising the length of the Mighty Murray? She’ll Do Us is an intimate river cruiser built for exactly that purpose. Combining the practicality of a shallow-draft monohull with the strength and durability of rigid steel construction, she offers comfortable, economical, and self-sufficient cruising. Her functional layout, lots of storage, off-grid solar power, and panoramic windows create a welcoming space to relax while taking in the ever-changing river scenery.
Professionally built in 1998 by Peter Vickers of Bumble Bee Houseboats, Murray Bridge, She’ll Do Us features wide steel sponson decks that allow safe and easy access around the entire vessel. Boarding from the riverbank is simple using the onboard fold-out access plank, with a second larger plank stored on the steel roof for added convenience. These River Wren boats are comfortably handled by a solo adventurer or couple.
The cabin is equipped with a starboard helm featuring Hydrive Admiral Series hydraulic steering, Yamaha controls and gauges, a Navman depth sounder, and a Uniden UHF radio. The galley includes a new XTM 12V fridge/freezer, sink, and stylish marble benchtop. Entertainment is taken care of with a new 12V TV/DVD player and Sony CD stereo.
Forward, a comfortable V-berth provides double-bed accommodation, while the aft bathroom includes a moulded shower, new macerating flush toilet, and vanity, offering all the conveniences needed for weekends away or extended liveaboard adventures. The spacious covered rear deck features bi-fold windows for year-round comfort and a stern bench seat with neatly concealed house batteries and fuel tanks beneath.
Thoughtfully equipped for independent cruising, includes three solar panels, two 120Ah gel house batteries fitted in 2025, Gecko instant gas hot water, wastewater and greywater holding tanks, carbon monoxide and smoke alarms, and a BBQ.
Propulsion is provided by a reliable 2007 Yamaha 25HP High Thrust outboard motor with just 1,468 hours. Three fuel tanks supply ample range, and the boat cruises comfortably at approximately 8 km/h, making relaxed exploration of the Murray a pleasure.
Offered as a genuine walk-in, walk-out package, She’ll Do Us was last slipped at Mannum Slipway in February 2026 and has successfully completed a new insurance risk assessment. She is currently fully insured and has Gas and EPA wastewater compliances, providing peace of mind for her next owners.
Located in the Lower Murray River region, the vessel's berth is also available to lease upon application and approval. Well maintained, practical, and ready for immediate adventures, She’ll Do Us presents an outstanding opportunity to own an affordable and capable river cruiser houseboat.
