This Hartley New Marksman 38 was originally constructed and used for coastal cruising but remains equipped as an offshore vessel. The marine ply hull has been Dynel Sheathed ensuring a dry bilge with minimal overall maintenance required.
 
Fitted with Shipmate marine plotter Navionics, and Robertson auto pilot, venture to Port Lincoln, Kangaroo Island or continue to explore the mighty Murray.  
 
This elegant boat offers all the comforts required for day trips or extended cruising; and she is equipped to berth 6 persons. Kettwig has been kept in excellent condition by the current owners and presents as a “turn-key”, walk-on walk-off ready to sail away vessel.
 
Upon entry from the stern, you are greeted with a roomy afterdeck, ample seating, and storage areas, with concealed 240-volt fridge and freezer. This is a place to relax and enjoy the water views, all protected by weatherproof blinds.
 
The saloon / helm area has seating for eight in comfort. The timber work throughout gives a warm, luxurious, quality feel and the helm has all the required instrumentation, plus UHF, VHF and O.T.C. communications.
 
The generous galley has seating for four, with all necessary appliances including 2 x burner stove, oven and grill, microwave, 12-volt fridge / freezer, cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
 
Forward to the bow, there is a separate head on the Portside, with shower and vanity room opposite, on the starboard side. The ‘V’ berth has a comfortable fully sprung mattress and wall mounted TV. 
 
The flybridge with helm and instrumentation, has seating for six and more storage areas. An undercover Honda key start 3KVA generator, Powered Davit, and an inflatable tender with a Yamaha 4Hp outboard motor are added extras.
 
Other features include 4 x New 250–300-amp hour batteries, 12 & 240 volt throughout, alarm system, spare prop and toilet, power anchor, and a clever folding dismount ladder / ramp system. 
 
Powered by a Perkins Sabre 215Hp Turbo Diesel Marine motor with V-Drive propulsion. Kettwig can comfortably cruise from 8-14Kph with approx... 9.0Lt per hour economy.
