Are you looking to enter the houseboat market? Giree Mya is a 1979 custom-built pontoon houseboat that is cute, compact, and well presented, making her ideal as a weekend getaway or a comfortable little home on the water. She is ready to be enjoyed right from the start.
 
This traditional-style houseboat offers a spacious open-plan layout that makes excellent use of the space onboard. Covered fore and aft decks provide great outdoor living areas, complete with timber plank decking, safety railings, front and rear entry gates, and cleats.
 
On entry, the starboard helm is fitted with standard instrumentation, a CD stereo, and UHF radio. Opposite the helm is a futon lounge that converts to a bed to accommodate additional guests. Aft is the dining area, with TV and DVD for entertainment. Large windows throughout the vessel allow for plenty of natural light.
 
Mid-ship is a well-designed U-shaped kitchen featuring a Chef four-burner stove with grill and oven, an Electrolux fridge/freezer, a Sharp microwave, and ample bench and cupboard space. There is also a second fridge.
 
Accommodation is two bedrooms; one fitted with four bunk beds and the other offering a double bed along with robe and drawer storage.
 
The bathroom includes a marine flushing toilet, vanity, and a tiled shower with a glass door.
 
The rear deck houses the vessel’s compact off-grid electrical system, wastewater pump-out points, storage cabinets, and provides access to the swim decks. Primary power is supplied via shore power.
 
Propulsion is provided by twin Yamaha 9.9 horsepower four-stroke outboard motors.
 
The vessel was last slipped in September 2015 at the Mannum Slipway and is EPA wastewater compliant as well as gas compliant to 2006 standards. The boat is currently uninsured and is offered for sale on an As-Is - Where-Is, Walk-In - Walk-Out basis, with buyers encouraged to conduct their own due diligence. The current mooring may be available upon application and approval from the owner. Registered till September 2026. A neat and tidy houseboat that is realistically priced for a timely sale.
