Verity, like all wooden vessels of note has a history and was built in 1903 in W.A. as a schooner.
The raised foredeck was added in later years and fortunately she retains much of the original brightwork, including the binnacle and helm.
The hull is planked in Jarrah and she was fully restored in 2005. Finished in polished Jarrah throughout the overall condition is exceptionally good.
Verity was last slipped in August 2019. She was fully re-caulked and remains a very tight hull.
Being powered by a 36HP Volvo Penta diesel provides both a good cruising speed and fuel economy.
