Pedare
Pedare is a classic cruiser, 40 foot long with a beam of 12 foot six inches.
Built in Jarrah below the waterline and Oregan topsides, Pedare was built in 1933 and launchd in 1935 in Port Adelaide. The hull is carvel planked on ribs and frames.
Pedare has a significant history including WW2 service patrolling the gulfs and Kangaroo Island.
Recently slipped, antifouled and repainted, Pedare is in excellent condition.
The Boat is powered by a 75 hp Yanmar diesel fitted in 2003 and cruises comfortably at 6 knots.
Internally the area in front of the helm was rebuilt in 2009 and now includes two cabins, (sleeps 4) along with a separate toilet and shower/bathroom.
Behind the helm is the galley/saloon which was rebuilt in 2003 in beautiful polished timbers with Tassie Oak floor and a fold down table (this area can also sleep 2)
Pedare has solar panels, hot and cold pressure water system, freshwater tank, 150 litre diesel tank, depth sounder, aluminium walkway for river landings, muir electric anchor, radio's, gas stove, fridge, swim deck, ladders and canvas covers.
