Heavily constructed to withstand the test of time, this all steel river cruiser was built by Heemstra of Goolwa in 1989.
In style, it is reminiscent of a large volume European canal boat, making it an ideal 'live aboard' and practical cruising vessel.
Powered by an economical twin turbo GMC D637 diesel and also fitted with a bow thruster, it is easily managed for it's size.
The foredeck is fitted with an electrical ramp and can accomodate a small vehicle or several motorbikes.
This vessel has been recently upgraded to be totally 'off grid' with an impressive array of solar and storage battery power.
It is backed up by a 5 KVA diesel generator (rarely required).
Catchment and stowage of rainwater has also been maximised to allow live aboard use, independent of river water.
In addition to engine spaces, electrical plant and tanks etc, the large monohull provides more than adequate storage room.
The main deck comprises a spacious forward lounge with helm area and a bar. Entry into this luxurious and fully furnished lounge is from both port and starboard.
Aft of this lounge on the port side is a large stateroom, originally with a queen bed, now utilised as office space but easily reverted to a bedroom. Behind this is another single bedroom and a full sized bathroom and laundry.
Starboard side is the galley and dining area.
The upper deck has an extensive area encompassing a master stateroom with a king size bed and a large ensuite. Additional space in this area is currently utilised as another office.
There is an upper outside front deck with helm plus a rear outside balcony off the master suite.
